Here is a quick message in between about some things going on. Peter Bos aproached me about my gunpla blog and mentioned that there arent that much people in the Netherlands who do stuff with gundam. So he asked me if wanted to start up a gundam site for the Netherlands with him. I said yes because it rememberd me of the time that gizmoxia was still up and runnning and we had an amazing group of gundam fanatics on their forum. So i hope for the people who follow my blog and would like to join a dutch site with gundam fanatics please join us on gunpla-nederland
We have a site up and running wich shares news about gundam related items and also a froum and facebook page.
Its a bit quiet at the moment but the people joining the bigger and better it wil get.
Hope to see you there. But first im gonna go on vacation to belgium for the next 7 days.

Its been a long time :P
Hi guys its been a long time indeed. But i'm in the moddeling mood wich is a good thing hahaha. how are you guys doing, still reading this blog ? I hope so because im planning to do some more moddeling in the next months. And as i'm getting more in the mood of moddeling so is my intrest in other moddelers and their work. Last night i came across this build wich is so detailed en awesome as hell, that i could not refuse to post a link to this awesome project. Give me a shout if you still read my blog and still building, and if you're only reading it thats good too let me hear ya. I'll post some more soon and i'll try to do some moddeling in the meanwhile to give you pics. Till soon :)

Some sort of stop
Im going too be really short in this post.
Life is taking alot of free time the last year and i hardly build anything.
So im going to put it in some sort of stop.
In the future ill post what i will build but without deadline im keeping to myself.
I hope that the last few people reading this wont be dissapointed.

Time is flying
Damn time goes to fast, really havent done that much on my model since my last post.
I've been so busy with so many things at the same time that i had almost no time to do anything with the sword impulse.
And my schedule is not getting that much better, still working on my attic so my younger brother can sleep there.
Thats for starters and im really busy with work, got many days that im late from work and have things like going to the gym for exercising.
Maybe with the upcoming holidays next week, there could be a small gap in the schedule for modeling.

Been busy with the Sword Impulse
I've been busy with the sword impulse but it's not a major progress.
You can probably remeber the idea of placing aftermarket parts on the chest.
Well it ain't gonna work since the size does not match enough.
It will be too sall and that will look rather dumb.
So i will only paint them.
I also bought a bunch of new paint colours for the airbrush wich should be easier to use and clean.
Took some primer of the same brand too but it's clear, and i used it yesterday.
I can tell you, i dot like it at all since i can hardly see wat im doing.
The brand i'm using is Revell, does any of you know it or used it before? please tell me you're experiences.
Still im going to use it and i'll try some things to work with the primer.
Did pay for it so it would be silly to trow an almost new bottle away.
Forgot to mention this in my previous post i joined a dutch modeling forum wich is mostly building cars, trucks and planes but ocaisonaly someone builds a gundam on the forum.
Nice to talk to some fellow modellers but i missed the enthousiasm that i share with fellow gunpla builders.
And thats why i joined a huge Australian gunpla forum.
I can tell you it's such a relief to talk to builders with the same intrests and enthousiasm.

Update time !
It's time for an update, so let start where i ended.
The sanding that needed to be done is done finaly, it's the most annoying thing in the whole proces of modeling.
I took my time and thought about modding the sword impulse and i'm sure now it wont be much.
Since i need some tools and i can hardly find the right ones, i'll mod the sword impulse with small things.
And i already started with the excalibur swords.
Everybody knows the beams on the swords and when i saw the beam tips i wanted too make them look more agressive.
And so i did, i took my hobby knive and started to chip away plastic.
Take a look at the picture below on the result.
The upper part is original and the botom part is modified.
Now it looks more pointy and more agressive just like the sword impulse.
As for other modifications i was thinking of putting some after market parts on the impulse.
I got some vulcans wich can be put in the gundam head of a master grade.
And i thought what if i put 2 of them on his chest.
They aint there on the moment but im still thinking on doing it.
Here is a photo so you can see what i mean.
I got the aftermarket piece in my tweezer and in the background you see the chest of the impulse.
And last but not least i got a new model today.
It aint a gundam but it's a model i wanted for really long time.
Me and my brother where in a store full of everything that has someting to do with models and modeling.
I got some putty some brushes for painting and there it was, the model i've been looking for years.
And they had 2 different kits wich were not so different from each other.
Got the one i thought i could use best.
The reason why i wanted this model so bad was because it was my first car!
As for the model its only in a GTI version wich i did not have in real life.
I had a normal 1.6 vw golfII
Back in those days i modified my car to a bit of the looks of a GTI.
In the beginning it looked like this :
Except for the rims and mirrors i already changed them.
And i turned it into this in about a year :
Sorry for the low quality on the picture i made using my cellphone from years back.
After about 14 months a driver who was not paying attention drove in to my car and t-boned it.
The car was beyond repair and unfortunatly i had to get rid of it.
The model does not have all the things i put on my car back in the days.
But i will try to make it look pretty much as my first car.
If you got any questions or comments i'll be glad to hear them.

sanding, sanding sa.... ice?
As i was sanding my sword impulse last month suddenley out of nowhere there was this so called horror-winter coming to the netherlands.
And it came what means that i can take my ice-skates from the attic and go practicing.
The ice skating track is open and i'll go make some laps on it.
I know this is hardly gundam related but this is one of the reasons why i take some brakes at building gunpla.
And i got more news, my brother moved in with me.
This has some advantages because he has a real nice nikon d90 wich is perfect for making photos of my gunpla.
Eough said about non gunpla stuff.
Im going to try and sand the sword impulse some more this week, since if only got the swords sanded and al the white parts.
Now i only need the red parts sanded and the inner frame.
And what a pain in the a.., all those tiny pieces need a touch of my sandpaper.
But in the end it will be all worth it.
I wonder if my followers are builing some gunpla at the moment?
So my question to you is are you busy with gupla at this moment?

Here it is, or at least the anouncement
As you can see on the photo's below my new project is the MG Sword impulse.
It's one of my favorite mobile suits from Seed Destiny.
Like many others im a sucker for giant swords and with the sword impuse you get two!
I really love the scene's in Seed Destiny where Shinn completly wrecks everything with the sword impulse, not sure wich episode it was that Shinn goes beserk on the ships.
Maybe some off the readers know wich scene it is.
(found the scene with help from Wizzie, episode 12)
Take a look from 6 minutes and about 15 seconds tille the end to see the Sword Impulse in action.

I'll first show you some photo's of a bit of work i already did.
The armor put on the frame is to give you a bit of an idea how it will look.
Looks good dont ya think, and to be true im already some steps further than the photo's show.
At the moment i'm posting this part i already sanded the white parts.
And i sanded the sword, a piece of the backpack and im starting on the inner frame.
I'm sorry for the second photo, i know it aint really clear. i made this one to give you an idea how long the swords are combined.
They are a whopping 50 cm in lenght wich is extreme.
I'm still thinking of possible mods or just some minor changes in the paint scheme.
As for this post i'm done, i'll update you as soon as possible.

As promised

The desk you see on the right will only be for my laptop in the future since there will come another desk for my gunpla.

I took the seravee box with me and went upstairs to find a new project voor 2012.
And what did i find on my attic, its a gunpla kit i wanted to build for months.
The kit is a nice one and pretty famous with a bad ass look.

last week of my 4 week vacation.
Like the title says i'm in the last week of my vacation and since almost everyone i know is working, i got a week of time all for myself.
So finally after about 2 years of leaving the gunpla on a small fire, im going to build a lot more this year starting this week.
And i've been thinking would i continu with a W.I.P or start a new one.
i'll update my W.I.P list at the same time i'm posting this, because there are some projects finished or as good as finished.
The f-16 fighter plane has left the house last year, because the boy it belongd to wanted to paint it himself.
And the Aegis only needs some top-coat on it so i will remove this one of the lst to.
I'm gonna eat a piece of bread and take a look for the gunpla-kits i have left in the box.
I like the idea of starting this new year with a new project what about you ?

Happy new year and the best wishes to you all.
Well a new year has started and i'm sure it's going to be better than last year.
Things are looking a lot better for me since 2011 has been a terrible year to me for multiple reasons, but there is also some good news.
Because my hobby room is really getting nicer and nicer the last months.
Wich means there will finally be some serious gunpla-building for me in almost 2 years.
There will be some pictures of my hobby room when i get more stuff in there.
This will be it fo my post for now, im going to clean my hobby room and bring some stuff up there for later.

I'm not taking a role in this years competition since im to busy, and it's almost over (ending september first).
But if this is going to be a yearly event im really thinking of entering it.

I'm still alive
Well still here not making any progress on building or whatsoever.
Buti spoke to a fellow builder last week and he boght the new dynasty warriors gundam or musou gundam game.
I looked it up on the internet and it looks really good, planning on buying it end of the summer.
Does anyone who follows my blog have it?
And if you do, do you like it ??

Breaktime.
I'm sorry to let you know i'll be out of the gunpla for some time.
Dont know how long but i think it will be a while before i'll be back in buisness.
Everything and everyone wants a lot of time from me and i got to make some choices because i cant do all the thing at the same time.
So i decided to put gunpla on a hold.
I would really love some more time for hobbies and stuff like that, but my house friends, girlfriend and a whole lot of other stuff are swalowing up my time.
And if the lack of time is not the worst thing bandai decided to make a mg of my favorite gundam: the deathscythe.
I think it's pretty crappy they do ver ka, but its also a challange to mod it.
I'll get it when i start building again.
Well thats it for now and before i forget i did some gun and feet modding on the seravee.
You'll see some photo's next time.

Pre-assemble seravee complete.
I completed the seravee minutes ago and im stiling thinking about some small modifications.
Customs mods on the seravee are hard to find on the internet, not that im going to copy tem.
But i thought to get some inspiration out of them.
Ow well it aint a problem because i kno what i want on the seravee : more detail.
Thinking about some pla-plating in it, and i'll see if i have some aftermarket parts for it.
And for the weapons i'll try to detail them a bit to, wich will be hard for the shoulder cannons and the knee cannons.
As for the paint scheme ill leave as it is.
Maybe ill put some stripes on it or something like that and a few different shades of colour.

More pictures of my work in progress
Like i said in my post of may 26, i'm watching the 00 second season now.
And i orderd the desingner colour models of the arios, cherudim and the seravee a few weeks ago.
I'm al in the 00 series mood and started building/pre-asemble the seravee gundam.
Not sure if i should mod the huge m%therf$cker or change anything to the paint scheme.
I like the designer colour models since there not as brightley coloured like almost every gundam, and the decals are a nice finishing touch to the model.
Here is the first picture of my pre-assemble.
Since im not a big fan of huge kits like full armor models or huge ones like an aqguy, i kinda like this one.
Most of the time its models like an strike-freedom, destiny or deathscythe wich really exicte me because the look fast and mean.
It's the same thing i have with the fazz sentinel, the model has something in it's looks that i like.
Can't really tell you what it is but i like it.
Maybe you can compare it to the feeling when you see a girl, youre first thought is that she either looks nice or not.
Ahh well enough talked about that here is another picture for you guys.

As promissed some photos :D
First thing i did after work was taking a nice shower.
Second thing was getting up the attic and search for my cable between the digicamera and the laptop.
And i found it thank god, if you could only see the mess its still is.
Finding something specific is like finding a needle in a haystack.
I was pretty sure where i left it so a 5 minute search was more than enough.
Lets get to the point.
Building the f-16 was a bit different than a gunpla, in fact the only thing they got in common are that there made from plastic, there modelling kits and there used for warfare and thats about it.
The whole kit is a single color in plastic, and it has 3 cups of paint with it : black, white and grey.
It only has water slide decals and enough small pieces to make you insane in a day.
I started building about 3 weeks ago withthe boy from my old neighbourhood.
Did not finish that day so i picked him up the week after.
But he changed his mind to playing some playstation and let the building with me.
After all it took me about 5 or 6 hours to glue it al togehter and this is te result:

Unexpected company.
Well i promissed post some pictures of my progress this weekend since my GF was off to a festival.
Unfortunaly i got company of a very good friend wich stayed for the weekend.
I did make some photos of the F-16 fighter plane, but i only have to upload them to my laptop.

I'll try to get them on my blog as soon as i can.
But like more people on the blog im lacking in time a bit.

Pretty late this time.
Well just like the last time, im pretty late with an update.
My house is still taking a lot of time an my GF to.
But i found some gaps to work on modelling.
I build an f-16 fighter-plane for a boy from my old neighbourhood.
His dad is a bit clumsy with building thigs some they asked me.
The plane is almost done only a simple paint job and some decals.
As for gunpla i did some work on the Chaos gundam wich is a rather simple model if youre building MG's al the time.
Dont get me wrong but i think that they are some times a bit to easy, the dont really challenge me enough.
At least the Chaos is not, but i also have a HG arios, seravee and cheridum.
I really hope the give more satisfaction.
Maybe i will try to build one of them since im watching 00 season 2.
Wich one of the 3 is your favorite ?
And before i forget i build some of my PG gp01 with a nephew.
Not much only the feet, i can really notice its a older model.
But its complex and i love it.
I will try to make some pictures of everything as soon as possible.
And please leave a comment, im a bit curious if anyone still folowing my blog.
